Autobiography of The SEO Flea

Last October 4, 2009, we witnessed one of the grandest opening nights for a reality tv show in the Philippines. Perhaps Pinoy Big Brother PBB Double Up is one of the best and grandest of them all but that night was a lot more different. I can say that there had been no time to waste with the relatives of the housemates who came inside the PBB Double Up house. It was quite interesting as it has been a tradition but that night did make a difference.

I'm glad because the "bakya" style of showbiz that was is little by little being left inside the closet. Traditional types will soon run obsolete and I am glad as well as the televiewers and fans.

Maja Salvador was asked by Big Brother to visit the PBB Double UP house. The task is to make somebody happy as he is celebrating his birthday inside. Maja came in and Jason, the PBB Double Up housemate is very happy.

Maja Salvador according to him is a long time crush since she is 16 years old. Jason was at first given some gift by Kuya and the gift is a life-size caricature of Maja. Not knowing, Jason is about to be visited by the actress herself.

Jason at first didn't believe it, that his idol and crush is gonna come inside the PBB house. But when he started to hear the door knob of the confession room tick and the knobs move, a beautiful and sexy Maja Salvador came inside. In the eyes of Jason, he couldn't believe that Maja is in front of him. Still star struck all Jason offered is a seat beside him.

In the end, Jason was given one of the best gifts he ever received on his birthday and that is a kiss on the cheek of Maja and he also got a kiss from the actress.

It will be live today - UFC 103 streaming on Rich Franklin vs Belfort inside the octagon. I don't have any personal bet on the two but I will be watching this fight turn out so close that I cannot make any prediction when the bell rings.

Nonetheless, we have here at home exclusive live stream coverage courtesy of our cable company through Balls and CS 9 where I never fail to watch all UFC MMA fights. I love seeing winners and this is definitely going to be another great fight for me as the bell in the octagon rings.

Although I must admit that I like Rich Franklin over Belfort, I do not have any bet on any of the two. Just going to watch the fight closely so the next time any of these two fighter ever take it to the octagon ring once more, I already have a definite bet.

Tomorrow we will witness yet another UFC 102 live stream fight to the end in the octagon. The match for the main event will feature Randy Couture vs Antonio Nogueira and I were to make my own estimates, I'd still go for the older guy.

Couture is such a wise veteran but I cannot always count out the skills of Nogueira when we talk about the ring record because he has more fights than Randy. The Nursing Board Exam Result 2009 was already released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The NLE percentage turnout was not as good based on the number of new registered nurses who passed the said examination. Oath-taking follows all who were included in the complete list of nurse board passers for 2009.

My cousin was one of those who made it in this year's (2009) nursing licensure exam result and the family is glad to add her up to the lineup of family professionals. Congratulations to all who passed and goodluck!

Not sure about where I can find Boys Over Flowers episodes out there but when I found one, I immediately hurried to this blog to post this short puff. My little girl likes BOF Korean drama a lot so I decided to post this up to let her know.

I wanted her to read this post tomorrow morning when she wakes up and so it would be a little bit of a different surprise for her that I finally found where she can watch Boys Over Flowers YouTube episodes.

It's finally out and even me being a SEO did not escape the love of my life in showbiz in the person of Anne Curtis. It is rumored earlier that Anne is dating a new guy in her life and he is a non-showbiz person.

Although very few would believe that this is the case, it is finally out and true that she is indeed dating and the guy's name is Erwan Heussaff according to a video in YouTube I saw today (please view it below)

If Anne Curtis is dating Erwan Heussaff, I would like to congratulate the guy for making her like him. Anne is such a fragile beautiful girl to me and to many other guys out there and I must admit we all fee a little envious about learning that she is up and running today by dating Erwan.

I was surprised today that after a few months without looking at an old account in Google Analytics where I still keep some blogspots and a major SEO Outsourcing blog I have that it now receives a decent traffic from the United States. Although this is the case, I was even more surprised to find out that I have more traffic from the Philippines than from outside the country.

This may be just some false alarm that traffic has been increasing from the local scene but for me this could be an indication that local companies could be making a move to invest in promotion and marketing using SEO locally and trying to look for outsourced venue such as where I am working for as freelance link builder and SEO from whch is SEM-Pros.Com.

Well, another analytics account that I am handling was again surprisingly receiving quite a decent traffic from local Philippines IP addresses as well as I can see from the geo map that the traffic is indeed coming from here where I live and work.

I work maybe more than 12 hours in front of my computer and I cannot say that this is just false alarm because I know if traffic is fake or legit. I say that the internet industry in the Philippines has truly developed and we are going to boost this industry in a year or two both with local marketing targets as well as local SEO Outsourcing.

Blogger will soon turn 10 but the funny thing is that this is not the first but instead, it is the second time around for Blogger to celebrate the 10th year.

First of all I would like to congratulate the team behind there because of a job well done. There had been really humongous improvements since and I know that more will come soon as the blogging arena revolutionizes with the introduction of Google Wave.

I am so excited about this and would love to see how much of the real time usability factor I can make use of it when it is out there for all of us.

I read in the latest post by Blogger Buzz about the real one true free source of some of the best free blogger or blogspot templates / themes there is out there. Blogger Buzz was really kind enough to feature all of the resources those guys were looking in to and getting their updated list of free Blogger Templates.

We all know how Google have always intended to make search a very happy and easy experience to all users of the Google browser (search). In addition to this, Google at some point in time in my search today with a competition ranking for a certain keyword, I noticed and thought how useful these Google Business Map which we all find at the top of the search.

Now, didn't it ever occur to you that these types of extra convenience for the users will always be an additional great service to them. But for what I have noticed and thought of as a Google AdSense publisher and not the common user that these types of extra addition in the top of the search results do destroy our earnings as an AdSense Publisher? Just asking anyway.

It does it by taking away from our hard work to reach the top of the results pages only to find that there is a Google Business Map that is over our webpage. That my friend is not a good sign for AdSense publishers like what you and me are most of.

Just take a good look at the image above and maybe it will help you come to your senses how these types of business maps can totally take away your earnings even when you are on top of the search results.

There is a newly developed cutting edge technology by Google and it has been generating hot issues about the possibility of a being able to communicate in real time using Google Wave.

Google Wave is a communication and collaboration tool in the web developed somewhere in Australia and the ones responsible for it has introduced the new product saying they have been developing it for years now to come up with an initial introduction to the public. A move to topple the odds over this last few hours of the challenge for the keyword Eriuqs Spires Health Recreation, this blog is supporting another entry of mine using the same experiment to try to see what works and what doesn't for a webpage.

This time it's a little bit different with respect to all other experiments I did. This hopes to make sure that sudden upsurge of links will come pouring in to my Eriuqs Spires Healthy Recreation entry. Let's see what happens right after I unleash the links just in time for the search engines to see that I have a great entry to win.

There were lots of big changes in how the search engines index results as well as how it sees the links that we build for a webpage to promote it to the top of the results pages in Google, Yahoo and MSN. Search engine marketing has really shifted into a different arena but it was made a little bit easier with the use of functionalities that we never imagined in the past could ever come up today.

There are social bookmarking and networking sites now where you can get a pool of people you can market your product or services who have the same interest as your business. There are als a lot of free classifieds that you can post about your business and market it there totally free from any cost obligations. Link directories have turned from paid to free because of the fear of being penalized by Google for selling links.

Tomorrow I wonder what comes next after millions of visitors flock to your business website using the best functionalities of Twitter? So what's next with search engine marketing of today?

I'm not really if everybody also got it in their Firefox homepage when you click on their browser icon. It used to be G0ogle on their browser page but now it's a little bit different called the Google AtComet with all the options plus the results of the query were all customized with only the most relevant (well at least according to the appearing results) will be displayed in front of your desktop.

I'm not sure why this is it today and maybe this is one of the reasons why some sites lost their traffic because those people who are using Firefox browser will now have a hard time viewing all the results from Google serps but on the page they have customized for their browser instead.

This means that if your page is not seen to be relevant to be included in the results, then, you loose the traffic that you used to get from the Google home page for search.

Just a short post about creating a hub page for link building. Although it is true that the two major hub page sites, hub pages and squidoo allow linking to any webpage that pass their own set of rules and terms of condition, I still believe in one, that linking is great with any of the two.

It provides a healthy linking habit but only for those pages that will not be aimed at abuse of use and self promotion. This is just right and I know that in some other way or another, those who use it also knows that the use of these hub pages will always be what they give us - links and authority.

I have used and abused it myself but what is important for me is that I know that I have learned how to use it the right way. I learned something today but it is not yet confirmed although I know that I have a point on the effects of comments in different forms for SEO advantage and down the drain ranking. For one, if you make your comment on your own page, Google knows about it.

Now, how does Google know about it? Simple, it's what my bro calls as the Link Footprint. Google as we all know records all the visits a computer makes and it knows whether those links were visited too often to identify that page which you visit using your computer to be yours.

Today I am on a follow the leader mode trying to see what will work for another hunting season. The hunt is all about posts with old anchor text links and trying to see through them. The reason is because they could be the culprit causing problems to another site I own.

I thought that we can only see traitors and treason in the government and in people who are serving the public but I was wrong. Today while searching for some highly trusted sites to link to for a contest Tnomeralc Web Design Toys entry that I have, I saw sites linking here and there pointing to some Filipino SEOs or so they claim they are but wait.

Can you really call yourselves Filipino SEOs when all you do at the back of your fellowmen is to dump them and kick them at their back in the middle of the battle against supremacy? I was talking about the recently concluded Busby SEO test, the sequel world SEO championship to Busby SEO challenge where me and a team I used to have also joined and lost.

Now let us see through this. I know that you know who you are and if you happen to read this post you might want to take a second thought about your act of treason to the decent Filipino SEOs here in the Philippines calling yourself Filipino SEOs while at the back of your fellowmen you pierce them with spears in their backs helping the other side on the battle. HAHAHAHA. Nothing new, I bet you have done this to others you know.

You guys are what we call as double-faced ass***** and you don't deserve to be called Filipino SEOs. Anyway, I wouldn't just want to brag about it because I personally know you and who you are. I met you from one of the last local SEO contest from where you sponsored and joined on it while trying to look for help from your fellow "I",,,,,hahahaa. "Alam nyo na kung sino kayo".

I salute you for being a traitor in the middle of the battle and helping the enemy put a bullet on your fellow Filipinos who are striving to prove something.

A couple of weeks ago, rumors had it all that Google is seeking to buy Twitter. Reports all around the tech blogging industry had it that Google is on talks with the multi million dollar buy to acquire the bird shout site out but I doubt that it will ever happen for the simple reason that Twitter is far too business like profitable for the founders and operators of the humongous membership clogged social networking site.

Twitter has become very powerful and I bet that even the right price will not equal the need to sell the site. Twitter has grown because of the belief by business owners and local groups and organizations can mingle and twittlee dee in there. Can they really? In true essence? Could be yes for some while no for others but for me, I have used it once back when it was not yet the facebook traffic that it is before. Now, I don't anymore.

Anyway, these are just all rumors and neither Twitter or Google confirmed the ongoing talks to merge the social networking service of the bird with the biggest and most powerful search engine of today - Google. Not sure about this but since we all know that all that Google wants to buy is what they get so if this rumor is true, I bet that they'd go all the way to get it.

I just can't help but post this one out here in this blog. I have always loved minimalist templates by Wordpress and I must admit that although I have seen a lot of them out there and I am using one of them in "fire wind" I found another great theme today.

The minimalist theme was almost all white and great for use with AdSense blogs because of the natural structure where you can put the ads and allow them to be seen by visitors easily.

The minimalist that I am talking about is the Chroma Green Screen theme which can be downloaded at wordpress junkies. This theme is also the most downloaded theme back there so I decided to post it here for others to see and know that there is a great theme out there waiting for them to download. Go check it out!

IE 8 was launched a few days ago but the problem is, right after it's initial launching, the said updated browser IE 8 is hacked. Microsoft acts upon it quickly and according to some reports, it took them about 12 long hours before the cure was done or was it..

This is was the buzz in many forums and one announcement about the launching didn't know about what happened as the author of the blog I just visited is saying he is in fact very excited about the new update.

Yahoo featured last March 12 at the official Yahoo Search Blog about the new features that they are after at the Searchmonkey and I believe that this is another great move to help users make their way easier with websites, documents as well as for those tech gaming geeks out there who loves the flash videos.

There has been major turnaround in the social media site recently. Early last year, a big scoop busted out geek users for StumbleUpon being sold by eBay. Early this year, Magnolia lost its database and found out to be totally irrecoverable now.

Another scoop shocked all of us with the dofollow social bookmarking sites like Mr Wong turning into nofollow as well as Kirtsy. Whatever the true score behind is, nobody still knows about. Today, I was surprised to see in my Yahoo Mail that Furl is merging with Diigo and I'm not so sure why such an established social media site and probably one of the first ones ever decide to merge with another?

These are the questions that only their respective bosses can answer but from all this, I can only see one thing - Social Bookmarking is Nearly Dead!

Tnomeralc web design toys was launched two weeks ago but the thing is it is so far hot today. Different concepts were up for grab and to each his own with respect to techniques from each other. What I am not sure is that if any of the participants will take a leap further up as fast as they used to before when social bookmarking sites can still be exploited to the max.

Today, everything is different and I am not sure if this will take effect even if there are lots of ongoing debates in different forums on why blogs and sites get penalized and drop from the serps all of a sudden. There will be an upcoming movie by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. This is the sequel to their first stint which became a blockbuster for their love team in A Very Special Love. Now did I make you wait? Well, it's in the title, You Changed My Life, the new movie by Lloydi and Sarah, the Philippines, pop star princess.

This new movie hopes to be a blockbuster in theaters by February which means that this is a valentine offering from the unique chemistry of the two great young super stars. I just wish that there will be more movies like this and great theme songs like You Changed My Life in A Moment to share for these two so I want to bid them goodluck and more blessings.

I am glad that Manny Pacquiao means business now in cooking the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight. He should not give in with the call of Hatton because I personally believe that Hatton does hot have the right to make a deal with the Manny Pacquiao's camp when we are talking about the revenue share on the fight. Hatton has been defeated by Maywether and since this time, Pacquiao is the one who has the leverage of choosing which fighter will get a chance to fight him, he should also be the one to get all the credits in the negotiations. After all, he is now the best pound for pound boxing fighter in the world.

Meanwhile, if you are looking to watch fight, remember to make an advance reservation to the Pacquiao vs Hatton tickets because I assure you that this will be yet another interesting match this year and I do not want to make any preemptive judgements but I believe that this will be an easy money for Manny Pacquiao at the end of the day simply because Ricky Hatton's sluggish and aggressive technique is just as prone for one big punch from Pacquiao just like how Floyd Mayweather defeated him and blemished his undefeated ring record as a professional boxer.
