It will be live today - UFC 103 streaming on Rich Franklin vs Belfort inside the octagon. I don't have any personal bet on the two but I will be watching this fight turn out so close that I cannot make any prediction when the bell rings.

Nonetheless, we have here at home exclusive live stream coverage courtesy of our cable company through Balls and CS 9 where I never fail to watch all UFC MMA fights. I love seeing winners and this is definitely going to be another great fight for me as the bell in the octagon rings.

Although I must admit that I like Rich Franklin over Belfort, I do not have any bet on any of the two. Just going to watch the fight closely so the next time any of these two fighter ever take it to the octagon ring once more, I already have a definite bet.

Tomorrow we will witness yet another UFC 102 live stream fight to the end in the octagon. The match for the main event will feature Randy Couture vs Antonio Nogueira and I were to make my own estimates, I'd still go for the older guy.

Couture is such a wise veteran but I cannot always count out the skills of Nogueira when we talk about the ring record because he has more fights than Randy. The Nursing Board Exam Result 2009 was already released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The NLE percentage turnout was not as good based on the number of new registered nurses who passed the said examination. Oath-taking follows all who were included in the complete list of nurse board passers for 2009.

My cousin was one of those who made it in this year's (2009) nursing licensure exam result and the family is glad to add her up to the lineup of family professionals. Congratulations to all who passed and goodluck!

Not sure about where I can find Boys Over Flowers episodes out there but when I found one, I immediately hurried to this blog to post this short puff. My little girl likes BOF Korean drama a lot so I decided to post this up to let her know.

I wanted her to read this post tomorrow morning when she wakes up and so it would be a little bit of a different surprise for her that I finally found where she can watch Boys Over Flowers YouTube episodes.

So how do we call this? Is it being smart or is it trying to fool people. I'm not sure because today, a friend had concerns about refund for a no-connection because he relocated. The parties involved - Smart Bro and my friend.

There will be an upcoming movie by Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz. This is the sequel to their first stint which became a blockbuster for their love team in A Very Special Love. Now did I make you wait? Well, it's in the title, You Changed My Life, the new movie by Lloydi and Sarah, the Philippines, pop star princess.

This new movie hopes to be a blockbuster in theaters by February which means that this is a valentine offering from the unique chemistry of the two great young super stars. I just wish that there will be more movies like this and great theme songs like You Changed My Life in A Moment to share for these two so I want to bid them goodluck and more blessings.

I am glad that Manny Pacquiao means business now in cooking the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight. He should not give in with the call of Hatton because I personally believe that Hatton does hot have the right to make a deal with the Manny Pacquiao's camp when we are talking about the revenue share on the fight. Hatton has been defeated by Maywether and since this time, Pacquiao is the one who has the leverage of choosing which fighter will get a chance to fight him, he should also be the one to get all the credits in the negotiations. After all, he is now the best pound for pound boxing fighter in the world.

Meanwhile, if you are looking to watch fight, remember to make an advance reservation to the Pacquiao vs Hatton tickets because I assure you that this will be yet another interesting match this year and I do not want to make any preemptive judgements but I believe that this will be an easy money for Manny Pacquiao at the end of the day simply because Ricky Hatton's sluggish and aggressive technique is just as prone for one big punch from Pacquiao just like how Floyd Mayweather defeated him and blemished his undefeated ring record as a professional boxer. I'll be watching the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight soon.

Mark Jimenez is a great and a helpful person, contrary to what most people would know about him, he is the type that would sell his own watch just to be able to have something to give to the poor. he personally proved this with the launching of his Hulog ng Langit Foundation that has literally helped so many people, particularly the poor ones.

Tonight, I was able to watch about an interesting video clip about how the Philippine towing service works and should work according to the MMDA system of towing. There was this towing service that has a very unique towing service system that people have been ailing to expose the illegal way of towing in the Philippines, particularly in Quezon City.

The gimmick of this towing service is that when they see a truck or any vehicle in the middle of the street, they will approach at once the vehicle and a towing worker will automatically set himself in the driver's seat and without the permission of the driver and MMDA, the truck will be towed back to the MMDA towing center.

According to the MMDA, their system of towing the vehicle is illegal as the system should be this way. A vehicle may not be towed if the engine of the vehicle is running and can still run, the driver should be first called with the use of a car buzzer 5 times, if the driver is still not around the vehicle, the towing service again will make a second 5 beep to catch the attention of the vehicle's drive and if still, the driver will not show up, the vehicle will still not be towed unless a call is made to the MMDA office allowing the tow service to take the vehicle. This should be the right process of towing.

Another wrong system of the towing service is that after a vehicle is towed, it should be the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner to only talk to the MMDA (Metro Manila Development Authority) service personnel about matters regarding the towing charges and no one is else is authorized to do otherwise. Another wrong way of treating the towed vehicle owner is that the actual fees charged are in the due restriction of the towing service. It should be the other way around which is that only the MMDA has the right to make and set towing fees which amounts to a standard of only about Php 1,200. 00 only and no more no less regardless of the distance that the towing traveled.

More or less, this is how it all works when it comes to towing and towing system and service of the MMDA.

A few weeks ago, I was able to interview a black belter. An workmate from Laguna branch of the industry that I am working with and it turned out to be something very interesting and I should really avoid naming her here in this blog but I would like to specially mention that I really enjoyed reading from the concerns that she gave with my interview.

NO! It didn't last a minute but a few days. It must have taken her a few long hours thinking of the answers to the interview which I only sent through e-mail in wordpad. Sometimes it makes me think that it is the fountain of youth that this gift I have is put to use and is properly utilized.

2. Gas tank controls should have extra protection to be out of reach and access of children.
   
3. Check and be sure to turn off gas tank regulators after cooking process and covering it with a rag also helps lessen the risks of gas leaks to quickly spread out.
4. Since most houses have circuit breakers located on kitchens, be sure to have a regular monthly preventive maintenance by a qualified service electrician to avoid loose connections on the terminal logs of your circuit breakers and avoid sparks from electrical wirings to cause fire.
5. Always ready out some water filled container bin near your kitchen for swift and active response to possible sparks of fire.

13. Never leave lighted cigarettes anywhere else except in a safe and secured place only like a glass ash tray or thick metal ash trays and avoid putting them near fans that could cause it to fall on flammable materials.

Dear Bonjin,



I just read your letter dated 16 October, 2006. Thank you for the invitation. Because we are a consultative community, Kaalagad is currently consulting its members and staff as well as our partners in order to come up with an appropriate collective response.



Offhand, I would like to share with you my personal view. (Kaalagad is drafting its official position.)



I am of the opinion that your letter is insincere, insensitive and mercenary. It is insincere because you write as though October 6 never happened. No mention of the incident, no need for apology, no need to explain why McDonald's acted the way it did.



It is insensitive because you picked a venue which is one elevator ride from McDonald's's bosses' office, while we have to commute all the way to Makati from Quezon City. To add insult to injury, you picked the very same building where we were harassed by your security people and shabbily treated by your managers.



It is mercenary because I see PR written all over the page. It is not even signed by McDonald's but by an ad agency. We are not a 'market' that your college advertising textbooks may have taught you to regard. We are not a 'segment' of the market that you can simply 'sample', 'profile' and 'contain' if need be.



Don't treat us like we are a PR problem. I cannot take this veiled insult sitting down. So, to cut the crap, I will excuse myself from any possible dialogue with you or your client.



I have a very simple, doable and straightforward suggestion to you though. Why don't you and McDonald's use everything within your enormous financial and media clout to discredit what I am saying:



DON'T BUY MCDONALD'S BECAUSE:

1. McDonald's is arrogant - don't make them more arrogant.

2. McDonald's uses styrofoam - don't encourage them further.



I urge you to publicly discredit those two statements. And I shall be very happy, even eager, to be discredited and proven wrong if you really mean what you say. Show proof in all your stores and offices that contrary to what I am saying, McDonald's is a humble giant that puts public welfare above profit. That way, we all win!



I will publicly broadcast those statements. I know it sounds laughable for I can't even afford to pay for one column-centimeter of news item. A little-known folksinger versus a transnational ad agency of a transnational megacorporation is a like playing chess blindfolded with one rook less. On the other hand, I believe there are lots and lots of people who simply seek goodwill and solidarity. And I suspect many of them are fond of spaghetti and brewed coffee.



This will be the last time I'll write to you regarding McDonald's, hell I don't get paid for writing letters like you do.



Lastly, please do not take this letter as a personal affront. Like you said over the phone, we have common friends. I hope we are on the same page then, for instance, in taking the illegitimate Arroyo government to task over the specter of state-sponsored summary executions and brazen political opportunism that has become the norm in this country.



Tell you what, I hang out at Conspiracy (Visayas Ave, Quezon City, across Shell, beside Equitable Bank, landline 4532170). My favorite singers Cooky Chua and Noel Cabangon (who by the way once did a commercial for McDonald's) perform there. Our mutual friend Conrado DeQuiros is a regular.
